Do I need a doctor's referral to enter the program?
If you have a medical condition then a referral from your doctor is very helpful. Alternatively, with your permission we can contact your doctor or hospital to find out more about your condition to ensure your safety throughout your programme. I usually need information about your health condition, surgery or procedure and a current list of medications. If you don't currently see a doctor regular and have no prior health condition then you may join our programmes with your consent.
Will my doctor receive regular reports?
Yes - with your permission, our programme will give regular progress reports to your doctor. You will also receive a copy of these progress reports. We perform regular reassessments to keep track of your achievements and can also adapt your programme based on these results.
What do the exercise sessions involve?
The exercise sessions will involve alternating between cardiovascular work (raising the heart rate) and weight (resistance) exercises. The exercise sessions will be circuit based and will involve rotation around number of exercises. This means that we can maximise each session. We will always work to your ability and all exercises are safe and structured to you and your health. We can do a wide variety of things during your programme - go outside jogging, ab exercises and my favourite, ‘beat your own time’ challenges.
Where are you based?
You can train at our private studio at East Molesey, Surrey (KT8). Alternatively, we can do sessions over video/Zoom.
Why is exercise important?
There is a wealth of evidence to prove that physical activity plays a key role in improving people's health and well-being. Patients who attend cardiac rehab reduce their risk of complications and recover faster. Research has shown that people who exercise regularly reduce their risk of developing cancer and diabetes.

Physical activity can also improve your psychological well-being and mood, decreasing your risk of depression and improving your mental health and quality of life.
